Assigned

After a new request is created, Access Center Representatives will assign the request to a Provider. Access Center Representatives are able to do this in two ways:

  1. From the dashboard (CT-26.1)

  2. From the session window, under the Session Information tab (CT-27.2)

CT-26: Assign a Request from the Access Center Representative Dashboard

CT-27: Assign a Request from the Session Information Tab

Irrespective of where the Access Center Representative goes to assign a request, a window to assign the provider will be displayed. As depicted in CT-28, the window will display a drop down menu with a list of providers who are credentialed to work at the location for the request, as well as providers who are logged in to the application (CT-28.3). After selecting the provider, click on Assign (CT-28.4) to finish assigning the request.

CT-28: Assign a Provider to the Request

After the provider assignment is completed successfully, the Provider will receive a notification of the assignment, and will then be able to view the request from the Provider Dashboard. Back in the Access Center Representative Dashboard, this request will be moved to the Requests that have a provider assigned grid, where Access Center Representatives can track the request for any compliance issues.

If a Provider has been assigned a request and they have not accepted the request yet, a new Provider can be assigned. This could done because the Provider was assigned the request in error, or the Provider needs to be changed. This functionality can be done in the Session Information tab in the session window, as shown in (CT-29.5).

CT-29: Assign a New Provider

The above functionality can be done by Access Center Representatives, Administrators, and System Administrators.
